  • Flight 93 National Memorial

Just 80 miles from my hometown is Shanksville, PA, the site of the crash of UA 93. I've been there, and it is eerily sacred. There is a phenomenal makeshift memorial made by the hands of visitors who desire to pay their respects to these first front line warriors in our war against terrorism. It is exposed to the sometimes harsh seasonal elements of southwestern Pennsylvania. These heroes deserve a national memorial, and you can contribute to its construction at this site.

Xerox Corporation has created Let's Say Thanks, a national program designed to deliver millions of cards to servicemen and women overseas with messages of support from home. Children from across the country were invited to submit drawings that reminded them of patriotism or their hometown. You can choose from one of their many designs and add a personalized message. They accept new submissions via the site as well.
